As you may remember, cosmic latte is the average color of light emitted by 200,000 galaxies. The fact that this average isn’t more blue in appearance indicates that redder stars are becoming more and more prevalent. Thus, it isn’t beige cars making the automotive universe less appealing. Blame the beige on all of the little red sports cars, from Miata to LaFerrari. They make everything else appear beige.

So beige cars are the average of everything in the whole galaxy and thus the least individual and therefore least interesting you can possibly achieve.
